Locca Cafe Cyberjaya — Restaurant in Sepang

I finally had the opportunity to visit the restaurant after a few attempts to come here since it went viral last year with my partner in crime. We ordered their food under local dishes, which were Fragrant Rice with Daging Salai Masak Lemak Cili Api and Fragrant Rice with Curry Chicken, together with Ice Lemon Tea and Mango Soda. They offer a fair selection of Western dishes, breakfast items, pastries, desserts, and coffee on their menu.

The Fragrant Rice didn't live up to its name; it lacked the expected aroma and was essentially plain white rice 🍚. My partner's Daging Salai Masak Lemak Cili Api seemed off, with a slightly sour taste that didn't match the creamy description. Although I couldn't determine if the curry chicken was freshly made or canned, it was still delicious. As a non-spicy eater, I found their sambal belacan exquisite and didn't experience a 🔥 aftermath.

While the staff were friendly and well-mannered in the service line, they lacked attentiveness. My Mango Soda 🍹 was made from concentrated fruit juice syrup that needed better mixing with the soda, and the weak plastic straw was subpar. The square ice cubes 🧊 and small mug made stirring challenging, especially since no stirrer or small spoon 🥄 was provided. Management should address this for improvement.

The ambiance was nice and private, complemented by jazz hotel songs. The location in Tamarind Square's lower level is a great hangout spot. They offer ample indoor and outdoor parking accessible by wheelchair 🦼, though securing a spot can be challenging on weekends, during convocation seasons, and salary weeks.

I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Locca Cafe Cyberjaya for graciously allowing us to film our short project at their beautiful space. From the moment we arrived, the team’s warmth and generosity made us feel right at home. They were incredibly accommodating throughout the shoot — even when we ran over time, not once did they rush or pressure us to wrap up. Instead, they allowed us to continue with patience and understanding, which truly meant the world to us.

The convenience of having access to their facilities, including a clean and comfortable bathroom, made a huge difference during our long shooting hours. The staff went above and beyond by preparing the food on time and giving us a dedicated area to store our production equipment, which helped us move with ease and focus on the work at hand.

And of course, the food and drinks at Locca Cafe were absolutely delicious — beautifully presented, reasonably priced, and served with genuine hospitality that made us feel cared for. Their kindness, support, and professionalism played such a big part in making our shoot a smooth and memorable experience.

as a coffee lover, my expectations was high. i datang pun sbb nak makan and enjoy the coffee. but the latte taste very very weird. the espresso taste burning mcm getah terbakar. very weird aftertaste. i can stand strong and bitter latte but not this kind of aftertaste. first time tau.. i cant even finish my coffee. so i pun tanya la the barista what kind of bean they use and is it medium or dark roast bean.. dia pun blur nak jawab. kena refer and baca packaging coffee bean. i rasa espresso extraction tu failed yg membuatkan latte tu rasa pelik. please please, hire someone who knows about coffee.. its important to produce good coffee. if you guys tak hire knowledgeable barista then your coffee will always be problematic. but i saw another review saying the coffee is fine. maybe the real barista was on leave? idk.. i think today its just not my lucky day 😭 they also charged RM1 for plain water without ice in a small cup
