I visited this restaurant during Ramadan. The food was delicious, but the service was extremely slow. As a restaurant, the management should already know what time customers will break their fast and how many people will be dining that day. If there’s a large crowd, the food should be prepared in advance.
Why do I say this? Because my table had 10 people, but when it was time to break our fast, only 2-3 servings of rice arrived, and some dishes took too long to arrive.
I understand that challenges can happen in the food business, but as a customer, I feel this could have been improved. This is not a new restaurant, so they should already have a good estimate of how many customers to expect and prepare accordingly. Plus, we had made a reservation in advance.
That being said, the food was great. The smoked beef was flavorful and tender, the spicy petai prawns were well-seasoned and fresh, and the squid was cooked perfectly.
Service, however, can definitely be improved. But I do appreciate the effort of what seemed to be either the owner, supervisor, or manager, who personally came to our table to apologize for the delay. That’s a plus point for customer service. Overall, I hope they work on improving their service while maintaining the quality...
Read moreI was looking forward to the spectacular scenery at the eatery; stunning hillside, all shimmering emerald trees and twinkling lights at night. ( In daylight , it is serene green in backdrop of blue sky) Sadly, tonight it wore a cloak of darkness.
No matter, the culinary delights inside more than compensated! We dove into a vibrant medley of grilled Siakap and Cencaru, their smoky char mingling with the fluffy embrace of white rice. The yellow turmeric coconut sauce, a sweet, creamy dream, offered gentle contrast to the fiery dance of the chili dip. Cashier, check! Table, claimed! Food, reasonably fast! And for RM38.80, a feast fit for a king (or two hungry travelers).
Come for the decent food, rest your eyes on the lush green trees...
Read moreCame with family groups of 5 adults and 5 kids. I do make reservation and book the menu first 2 days prior, but when we reach it was not served and seating based on first come first serve. It was still okay since we came in early so we get to re-arrange our own table to join together. If lambat maybe kena berdiri tgu meja kot. During lunch mmg rasa panas, maybe mngmnt can standby more kipas around that.
BUTTTT the food was superb and authentic. Cant complain on that. Memang sedap dan definitely will come again tp dtg lewat siket when its less hot. I still give 5⭐️ and hope it can be improved 😊 Hashtag kita...
