Briyani Talam Madina • Subang 2 — Restaurant in Shah Alam

There's practically no parking space except along the main road. We were first customers and only one foreign female worker manning the stall. I'm surprised they open for business at 11am selling Capatis. She don't speak Malay well and couldn't understand what she's trying to say. Finally, we ordered 2 sets each of mutton curry, chicken sambal and lamb shanks with white rice bcoz Briyani rice not ready yet. Lamb shank costs RM40 each but it's so tough. The chicken is also tough and not crispy so, makes me wonder whether it's freshly fried. The Indon female worker responsible for drinks is busy elsewhere while we eat our lunch. Then she appears halfway our meal and took our order. It was a mess if there's a big lunch crowd. We understand from other customers that the Briyani rice was salty 😲. Came on Saturday around 6:30pm, ordered capati, poori, tandoori thigh, gulai kambing & kuah sardin. The gulai kambing and kuah sardin tastes good. Capati and poori biasa je… teh tarik also biasa2 je. The good thing, some drink is served free to customer like air sirap in the balang… Observed a hygiene concern coz some foods are not covered. Hope some improvement can be made. The poori and chicken tandoori came in much later (need to remind several times), I think this happens because the orders were not written, all by words of mouth only 😁. It is stuffy also inside, must be the hot weather these days…but ventilation inside the restaurant...

(Personal opinion only) I ordered for (take out) viral Set Itik, the food taste really good! Each curry gravy has unique and rich taste! The portion of food is really big, seems like enough for 5-6 persons, and worth it for only RM 99 as advertised. The downside (personal opinion) is, the interior design of the dining place is not that attractive. If the shop is crowded, you will feel a bit cramped. The parking place seems limited to me, but the shop is located at suburban residential area, may be it is not that hard to find further open parking places (not sure...
