Shaaz Curry House — Restaurant in Shah Alam

Came here a few days ago with my friends, when I politely called the waiter he came to me and asked “can’t you see I’m taking order?” In a rude manner. Really guys, is this how you serve your customers? What he should’ve said is “hold on bro ill take your order in abit” but no, guys comes close and asks me that. I’ve been coming here from when I was a kid. Now I’m not saying all the staff here are bad, just that guy who approached me was really rude and I know he’s been a longtime staff there. I don’t expect 5 star service, I know what a mamak is but I don’t think anyone deserves to be treated that way for the money they’re paying. Do take action...

Their nasi briyani is nice, I often packed, but haven’t tried other dishes though.

Their shop is often crowded, there is a night market operating in front of their shop on Friday so do park your car further away for your convenience.

Today, Sunday, 9th March 2025 during Fasting month I was around that area so decided to pack my lunch there. Regretted asking for squid, it’s so soft it’s not fresh and they gave me 2pcs so I had to try to finish it and I hope I don’t get stomach...

Before the bad review, lemme say some good things first. The environment is great. The place is so clean and comfortable to just chill and hangout. But, the nasi kandar here is not good. Been here to eat the nasi kandar twice to confirm it and nah, still bland. Can't taste the curry, and the chicken is bland, even the batter part. The worst thing is, its quite pricey considering the taste. Won't come here for nasi kandar ever again. Just to lepak...
