New Gen Mom Kitchen — Restaurant in Shah Alam

Reasons for me to give 1 star: overpriced food with below average taste (hawker center serves much nicer food at only half price of this shop).

poor customer services even though F&B are charged at high cost (all personnel are foreigners except the boss - asked the workers 4 times about my food which wasn't served after thirty minutes , none of them actually try to see what's going on and they just completely ignored me).

missed out my food on order and made me waited 40 minutes for nothing, yet no any action was done by any of the workers to compensate me (not even a single sorry from the boss).

charge at a cafe price, but environment is noisy and annoying as chaos.

This is certainly my one and only visit to this store. Hopes everyone can notice this review and be mentally & physically prepared before...

The Nasi Lemak with Ayam Kari had tender, flavorful chicken paired with a rich, aromatic curry. The sambal was perfectly balanced, offering just the right amount of heat to complement the creamy rice. The accompaniments—crispy anchovies, roasted peanuts, boiled egg, and fresh cucumber—were all fresh and enhanced the overall experience.

The Nasi Lemak with Ayam Goreng stood out with its crispy, well-seasoned fried chicken. It was golden-brown, juicy, and delicious. The sambal added a delightful spicy kick, tying everything together.

I can only comment that their services were excellent. Food arrived fast and piping hot. But they tasted plain. Curry chicken without curry taste. Claypot lou shu fun apparently tasted bitter, needed to dose it with soya sauce for a better flavor.

18-11-22, latest update, still not improved, the restaurant now became smaller, food still tasted plain, but the winter melon soup was food, fried potatoes leaves too dry, claypot pork rib with salted fish too oily, and the place was...
