I just ate at Sushido for the first time yesterday and it’s a worse experience ever. I took sushi from the conveyar belt and there were 3 dishes were changing plate’s colour to more cheaper after I was done finish eating every each one of them. Fried salmon (blue to green) -i paid rm9 Chuka idako (green to yellow) -i paid rm7 Kani maki (green to yellow) -i paid rm7 I asked the staff about the price when I want to pay the bill but before I could even finish my sentence, the staff claiming that the price just change (went up) from today and ask me not to worry about it. He doesn’t even bother what was my problem. Well, I understand if the price are getting more expensive in this current economy but this is different case. The price were getting lowered right infront of my eyes and I just lost total rm2 for each plate. Honestly, I don’t think it was the price’s problem. It’s actually the Sushido staff’s behaviour problem for being careless and unbothered about it later. I am disappointed because I love sushi but this experience is gonna make me stop enjoying eating sushi from the conveyar belt and will definitely be more...
Read moreTip no.1, be prepared to wait if you go during peak hours. Food takes long for preparation and all the staffs are rushing around. I ordered the sukiyaki set, soft shell crab maki and a grilled baby octopus. The maki came first and was mediocre with the ebiko spread unevenly and the maki falling apart as you bite it. Then sukiyaki came after quite awhile even if its just cook yourself. Followed by ebi tempura and tamago mentaiyaki don - 3 slices of tamago on top of rice - as a part of the set. And then the self grilled squid. ⚠️Tip no.2, do not order self cooked food pls as they use this portable gas stoves. Having 2 of them on the table, I had to share the table with baby cockroaches that exit their hiding spot as the stove got hotter. 3 of them were out and runing about. The manager did apologise regretfully and gave us a discount for...
Read moreWe gave this place a try as we were craving Japanese food. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a disappointing experience. We ordered the Chicken Katsudon, Yakinikudon, and a grilled Saba fish.
All three dishes were overwhelmingly sweet, to the point it was hard to enjoy them. The Chicken Katsudon was especially bad — it was soaked in sauce, making the breaded chicken soggy and unpleasant. It’s supposed to be crispy, but instead the meat expanded from the moisture and lost all texture.
To be honest, it was a horrible dinner that even upset my stomach afterwards. I also noticed that the kitchen was run entirely by foreign staff, and unfortunately, it showed in the lack of authenticity and proper preparation.
Would not recommend and definitely...
