Moya Cafe MY — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

I want to like eating here, I really do. But I didn't enjoy my visit. The food was bland and uncreative in taste. It looks fantastic but the taste, it could be so much better. Coffee wasn't very good. Hot chocolate wasn't great. Service wasn't memorable, staff were cold and standoffish. Not very good value for money. Restaurant was completely empty on a Saturday afternoon at 1pm. Hope they take more risks with their menu.

Second visit, asked staff if a menu item has egg as it was listed as having egg. Told it does not and menu is wrong. Put in my order requesting no egg anyway because I don't trust the staff. I must not eat egg, it does bad things. Turns out it does come with egg. Thankfully the kitchen read my note and substituted egg...

Food is okay.. Since its healthy type of food so quite bland, but i dont mind. What make me disappointed was, i bring my own kids cultery to use during my visit (i always bring my own with bibs). And because was quite hurry to go back since its closing time so i forgot to take the stainless cultery back with me. I directly go back to the restaurant the next days to asked for my cultery back, but the waitress there said they didnt have it without even double check n reconfirm with kitchen. Ordered nasi lemak, mushroom soup, mac and cheese ball, iced honey lemon. The mushroom soup is one of the worst I’ve ever had, tasted bland and weird. Couldn’t even take a second sip! Mac and cheese ball tasted bland no cheese flavor at all, the Mac is extremely soggy. Iced honey lemon didn’t have any lemon taste. Only nasi lemak is good, rendang is flavourful.
