went for their 1388 set meal for reunion dinner and it was very disappointing underwhelming portion - just look at the lousang and those sad-looking salmon slices subpar quality of ingredients used - for this price we’d expect some premium ingredients eg abalones or sea cucumbers, be it in minimal quantity but turned out there is none slow service & understaffed- our dinner started at 8pm and the first dish (after lousang) is only served at 8.40pm, hence the whole session was dragged until 10+; even the chinese tea took half an hour to be served a few dishes was not being served hot, felt like it was cooked for some time and left unserved
understandable that it’s common to be understaffed on cny eve but if you decide to take in that many reservations/customers, pls be well prepared to be able go handle the huge crowd, overall the dining experience offered by this restaurant is such a mood killer to the supposingly joyful reunion celebration
then the front desk aunty also not really good at handling customers, i know you used numbers to indicate which table customers will be sitting at, but if the we informed that our table is occupied by other family then wouldn’t it be a common sense to double check instead of insisting that’s where we are...
Read moreIt was a pleasant accident to stumble upon this eatery. 👍👍 .. from table reservation to filled tummies!
Generous portion and cook to perfection. Seafood was fresh that the texture of juicy flesh gave every bite of satisfaction. Braised pork was so nicely cooked that even a chicken-diet diner couldn't help to go for more helping. Ying-yong kailan was great and it is a must-order dish. The lady boss saw the birthday cake, she even offered a complimentary noodle dish and completed the meal with foc desserts.
The bill with no extra plus plus charges below was definitely another blissful experience. With early notice, the restaurant can arrange for dedicated live performance by Sam, the pro saxophonist.
To the restaurant, may it thrive and prosper in its utmost effort to provide great...
Read moreFirst time dining in this restaurant. Food taste fabulously good and portion is big too. We are in a group of 7 pax. We ordered a claypot fish dish, two dishes of meats, one beancurd dish and one vegetable dish. Total 5 dishes. Bill come out total rm190 which I think is very reasonable price with the portion given and good taste too. The lady boss and staffs are friendly and they are family run business. Boss from Sabah and all their seafood is fresh from Sabah. Apparently they just took over this business few months ago from previous owner. I will definitely come back to try their other signatures dishes. Have reserved parking lot in front of the restaurant which convenient for patrons. Air conditioning restaurant.
