This shop has become so successful that it has gone to their heads... The price of the food is getting way too expensive...

Just look at the tiny Fish... RM 48 The tiny plate of Tofu at RM 14 and tiny plate of vege at RM 12

Cause they have too good a business...? They've also become too arrogant? They way they answer people... They barely come serve you or come see if you need to refill hot water for the pot of tea... They just kind of abandoned you and we have had to bring the pot over to someone to get a refill... They pretend not to see you...

Then imagine having vultures standing around and staring at you while you eat as they eye for your table...

When someone calls to reserve a table... They will just shoot you down stating that it is booked till 8:30 pm... But when you go over to ask.... They have tables...

Success might be a good thing but when it gets to your head... Now then it's a dangerous thing... Your customer will start to go...

Was in the area and google map assisted in leading me to the restaurant. Shop was crowded but they offered me a table in the alleyway. Ordered a Cantonese meehoon, braised pork and a herbal drink, which was brewed wild sugercane. Service was very prompt with the pork dish first. They were extremely generous in the portion of Cantonese mehoon till i had difficulty in finishing it, so i ended up packing the pork with a small portion of rice. Total damage was 32.50. The food was flavourful n the meehoon had wok hei. So would recommend those who appreciate good chinese...

Cane here on the 6th day CNY and you can order ala carte not set menu. The dishes are all small portion and just enough for 6 adults. The kampung chicken is really more bones than meat. The vegetables are nothing much to shout about, standard fare. The minced meat tofu is ok and the teochew steamed red fish is good and meaty. It costs some 200++ which is not terribly expensive.
