Restoran Kampung Yong Tau Fu — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

I decided to give a try at this restaurant 2 weeks ago and I totally regretted driving all the way to this restaurant for their food. I've ordered my food and told them I will be dining at the restaurant. I've waited for almost 40 minutes which I find it strange given the crowd was not that much. I went to the counter and told a young man about my order and to my surprised they pack it. After that I've returned to my table and my order came. All the Yong Tau Foo was dark in colour and I've knew they deep fried it again because of their mistake. Common, it is your mistake, admit it and give a new one to the customer and not trying to modify by deep frying it and tell me it is freshly made. Unbelievable with their integrity and business acumen. No more next time and I would rather go to another Yong Tau Foo shop in Puchong - which have higher rating due to the taste of the food, plus no such integrity issue. Lousy business acumen and no...

Kampung Yong Tou Fu is seriously a treat that could only have it once in a while, due to the health reason as well as the price factors.

1. Overall hygiene. The cutleries, bowls, plates are all coated with layers of oil, where the crew fails to wash these properly. The table after previous patrons have done the dining was not cleaned thoroughly.

2. Pricey.

3. While patrons could park the cars inside the school's designated car parking, there is a signage that the gate will be shut at 6pm, and no one will allow to leave the parking.

4. Hygiene safety. Noticed the crew was having major flu and perhaps cold, with non-stop coughing, surprise to see that the said crew was not using a face mask to prevent the flu or sickness to spread to the patrons! The safety concern is super low, seems the restaurant operator does not aware that flu could kill!

*That's the main reason why it is still so hard to get the vaccination related to flu...

I waited almost 1 hour and I went to check periodically (there are only 2 tables of customers) To my horror, The kakak are busy doing other chores instead of preparing the ytf. So, I cancelled my order. Took the "number" and went to cashier to pay the drinks I ordered. Here, very dramatic. The man (I think the boss) told his wife (the lady boss)..
