I could say myself as a self-entitled curry lover, a deep passion for curry, and I could see myself coming to this place again. The service is top-tier, we takeaway 2 portion of curry mee but in the end realised only received 1 after reaching home. But the owner insisted to grab delivery us another portion + additional small bites which not a lot of owner could do. The main point is the curry mee, the soup is not overly cooked with just santan but constantly makes you wanna reach out to drink the soup again and again. FYI, this is not my first time eating this, and is just a comfort to go place whenever I think of curry mee. DO NOT expect it to be WOW or Michelin level but it is regardlessly a good curry mee overall. I would highly recommend anyone that is into curry mee to try this place out. But anyways, food preferences are very individual-based so in the end it comes down to your own...
Read moreHonestly, I didn't want to review this place. I don't like to give a low review. If I don't like, then I usually won't post.
But I had to post for this place as I was one of these victims of so-called foodies. Please don't trust all the hype on this place. It's super overrated.
The food was not even average. It was so bad. I'm not comparing other curry mee place or anything. It was just bad. We 3 of us went, and all of us didn't even have a spoon full. We just paid and left. It was so bad.
I actually don't understand the hype of this curry me as if they are the best. Not clean, hygiene is gone down the drain. Overpriced. The taste was bad. I don't know what else to say.
Request for the food reviewers - I know you all make a living with paid reviews, nothing wrong with that, but at least be honest and true to your line of work. People are floking that place due to your...
Read morethe place is dilapidated and unhygenic and is a big put off for us. it gives a bad impression but since we are there, we'll just try them out. once we find a table, the staff is friendly and will take your order and the food is then served pretty fast as they all worked fast. however, the foods are not what we had high expectation of. the yong tau fu and fried stuff are average. the dessert are a bit better but again nothing outstanding. their supposedly signature curry noodle is just more hype than good food. although the serving portion is generous, the curry aroma was bland and tasted run of the mill. the curry soup is unexciting and we definitely had better curry mee (jalan reko). the winner of the night turns out to be the lala soup. its fresh and meaty and the soup is flavourfully delicious. but the place still draws huge crowds with many of them...
