Soon Kee Seafood Restaurant — Restaurant in Subang Jaya

This place is opened by the previous owner of another nearby seafood restaurant and I think this is a decent option. Do not expect very high standards as they serve the usual Chinese "taichow" dishes. I did not see any specialties menu so I guess they don not have one yet but during my visit, they did recommend a today only chef's special, a braised pork with yam which was quite tasty; my family members loved it. Looking at the crowd during dinner hour, it is easily more popular than the other place where the owner was from. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a decent dinner option around that...

My family is regular here. Food are consider cheap, taste is alright. I like the prawn served here, fresh & big enough with affordable price. Fish is ok depends on what type of fish you order. The african fish is not that nice as it has slight "muddy" taste. I am personally very sensitive on the muddy taste, i guess most people will not notice it though. Tried their crab once on chap goh meh day, the size is average. Overall food is ok and price is good compare to a few other chinese seafood restaurant nearby...

My family are regulars here. For as long as I can remember, their food has never disappointed. This time I ta pao some roast pork fried rice and mee hun. The wife wasn't too happy about the taste.
