I'll be the first to admit that I am definitely quite picky when it comes to food. Especially when it claimed to be something. So when I decided to eat in a Chinese Muslim restaurant, I expect the same type of quality in other Chinese Muslim restaurants (at the very least). I want authenticity.

Therefore I can say that I am a bit let down by the overall quality of the chicken rice. Ordered the signature dish (no less) Hainan Chicken Rice, but I can easily say it's not up to standard. Imagine a Malay stall selling a Nasi Arab or Ayam Penyet dish. I think that's the case here.

It's okay, but it's definitely not pure in terms of flavour. All of it, the chicken, the broth, the soup, even the chili. There's something lacking. You will definitely feel the same here.
