Restoran Asri Rosmerah — Restaurant in Johor

A group of 8 people visited Asri on a Saturday morning 10am. We stayed at Four Points which is near to Asri and the buffet breakfast at 4 Pts were over crowded.

It was perfect timing at 10am, their nasi bryani was just cooked and ready to be served. There were many variety of dishes, there were at least 3-4 types of curry chicken, curry mutton, fried chicken, stir fried vegetables, all were freshly cooked.

We like their vegetables. Nicely cooked, fresh and crunchy for the cabbage and bean sprout. The 3x nasi bryani was delicious too.

We ordered 10 roti kosong. Their fish curry and Dahl was just nice to go with the roti.

We also ordered a plate of nasi lemak, which was ok too.

The bill was RM89 food and drinks for 8 of us. Value...

My family wanted to have roti canai here for breakfast and the waiter told us we had to wait 20 mins so we ordered their goreng2 but then the ones who came after us were served with roti canais (business tactis). Mee goreng mamak is out,tasteless . Requested for kurang manis teh tarik and they brought double manis. Teh tarik is also out. Breakfast gone wrong in the morning . What is this Anne???? Breakfast itself rm 45 aduuhhh. First and last and this is the very first time we are sitting at mamak. WORST MAMAK...

I can here to enough local fare (& stay away from banal hotel chow). We had thosai & roti canai with Ayam (chicken) Merah and a dish that I would describe as Ayam Kurma. I am very impressed with the chicken dishes as they were made using fresh chicken & the sauces were lip smacking good without being too salty. Our breakfast was washed down with teh halia. This will now be my default breakfast place in Desaru.

I read about the negative reviews from 1 yrs ago & it appears that this eatery has turned...
