Zaleha Kitchen — Restaurant in Terengganu

Worst service and most disorganised "cafe" in Kuala Besut. I went there three times, today was my third and last.

My first time there, I ordered a grilled salmon and waited 35 minutes before telling them I would like to take it away. After that, the lazy waitress came to me and said they were out of salmon. Wasted my time.

My second time there, I waited 45 minutes before getting my order of honey lemon and fried mantou buns.

My third time there, the sole male staff attended to us while 3-4 female staff were at the counter looking at their phones. We specifically asked for something quick, and the waiter recommended a rice dish. I ordered half-boiled eggs. 10 minutes later, the female waitstaff came to the table saying they were out of rice. We asked to cancel whatever items weren't prepared. Even the half-boiled egg was not started.

Avoid this place and don't fall for the lighting from outside, its interior has poor ambiance from the poorly-curated furnishing and cramped layout, plus the service staff...

Took 35 mins for our rice and soup to arrive!

All the customers in the shop were from the same local ticket office - clearly all recommended by the same lady.

All the customers had a very long wait, with meals for each couple/group coming out one at a time with large gaps.

The food was ok 2/5.

Really big and tasty plate of mee kungfu for RM 10. Four stars because the gravy was watery. Other complaining foreigners evidently came straight from the big city and aren't used to the pace of life in a sleepy little seaside village. There's no place for rudeness or impatience here!
