Not so good service. My first time there so had no idea on the restaurant layout. Was not offered a to sit inside or outside when I booked my table 2 weeks before. The table provided inside where 2 tables of different proportion put next to eachother. Of which only one could sit on the second table as it was given to us in the middle of the passage. We where then offered a different option to sit on a table used by 2 (we where 4). We accepted as there was no other alternative. We ordered an assortment of fish anti pasti, crudo and cotto. The cooked antipasti came 5 mins after order and the rest of the food started coming after, with no space on the table they started dumping the antipasti in every corner and space available, without giving us the comfort to eat them gradually. The crudo which is normally served before the cotto where the last items to arrive. Also having said all this the taste was very bland and left alot to desire. For main we had fish, yet again this was dumped without giving the option for the fish to be filleted. I'm sorry but when spending good money the least you expect is good service and communication.
Last but not least there was an empty table beside us clearly marked as not in use due to covid restrictions and social distancing. Towards the end of the meal this notice was cleared and filled with patrons sitting almost back to back with us. I presume the notice was initially put their on purpose, yet since gozo was packed with Maltese the owners did not care less on the situation and I stead of making patrons wait or refusing them, these tables...

Read moreI ordered the Fish Platter, and was advised to have the fish steak prepared al umido to prevent it from drying out. However, it was still served roasted. I brought this to their attention and confirmed it had been roasted. While they corrected the mistake, I ended up dining alone as the rest of the table had already finished their meals. I find it puzzling that they initially offered the correct suggestion when taking the order but then prepared it incorrectly. Additionally, the other components of the Fish Platter were poor and overcooked, I sincerely expected more fish and of better quality.
During the explanation of the menu, the chef began removing his jacket while speaking to us, which I found quite disconcerting.
While the pasta dishes others at my table ordered were exceptional—earning a solid 9/10—my dish, despite being the most expensive item on the menu, was disappointing and barely worth a 4/10.
Next time definitly I go again for the past dishes.
Above rates are based solely on my fish Platter and on my...
