Burger King — Restaurant in Qormi

The night was closing in and I heard a tapping from beneath my right wheel. I pulled in and joined the queue for the drive through. The noise stopped. The line was long and as rain began to dance with specks of mud down the windscreen I heard the sound from underneath the car start again. I moved the car closer to the ordering machine and the tapping grew louder and louder until it was as if Hades himself was smashing the underside of my car to an unholy rhythm. Suddenly a noise came from the top, it was the rain beating harder in response to the devil below. I moved the car along, my hands now white knuckles on the steering wheel. It was my turn. I rolled down the window, made my order and acknowledged the garbled intercom before quickly rolling the window back up.

The noise continued. It was deafening. I twisted the wheel left then right in a vain attempt to shake of whatever was the cause of the noise.

At last it stopped. I moved the car along to the serving window, paid and then moved on to the delivery window. As the staff member reached forward to offer me my food two bloodied and emaciated hands draped in rags reached up from beneath my door and dragged the food downwards. The staff member and I looked at each other and then looked away.

Needless to say they were kind enough to offer me some extra fries and...

The place is very well located, offers a drive through and has seatings inside. The staff are fast, helpful and patient with all customers, my order was ready in less than 2 minutes. The food is quite nice and tasty, they definitely ask you to cpmeback using their food quality. Some of the things I did not like is that the entrance should be on the other side of the building, you might get confused trying to get out of the areaif you dont have a car. They don't offer a menu to check before ordering, the menu is placed on a wall next to the cashier, you'll have to stand infront of the cashier and take someone's place while choosing something from the menu, an alternative way to check the meals is through the screens behind the cashier, however not everything on the menu is listed and you are limited to their "new" meals/specials.

They forgot to put the toy in the kids meal. We had sat outside before I realised and food was already going cold. Kid was screaming obviously disappointed at no toy after waiting for a long. Time n traffic and a line to order.

A lovely member of staff agreed to go get one. But returned saying the manager required me to go in with the receipt.... Anyone with a small child will know this is not a practical solution in this situation and to get to the counter would have taken another 10 minutes. Again. Food was already nearly cold when we got it.

In the end it was resolved by a small girl who gave my son her toy to stop him being upset. But I must say the manger no customer service...
