Aleppo food — Restaurant in Hamrun

Ordered a kebab and a falafel and received 2 kebabs and a falafel. When I asked why did get 2 orders for kebab, the guy at the counter said with a big Smile on his face that I ordered 2 kebabs. Such a cheap scam only because we were turists. The cherry on top was that we paid for a 26 € order (8,5*2+9) 32,5€. Update at your comment: It was no misunderstanding, I didn't order 2 kebabs and I can prove it. When I asked that guy at the counter why did he deliver 2 orders of kebab he said because I ordered 2. I said no, I didn't. And him, with a big smile on his face said 'yes You did'. That isn't a dialogue that proves good faith. It's just a guy happy he scamed someone. It's revolting that even now you're lying because I wrote the truth on Google. We were 2 persons and we ordered 3 plates, It totally makes sense and the guy was so happy that we did. I should have called the police but i'm in Holiday and i have better things tot do than to argue for a 8,5€ order. What I wrote is the truth and if You continue to lie I will contact the authorities in Malta about...

The shawarma is supposed to be Arabic !! It has nothing Arabic , full of spices to hide the quality of the burned black chicken !!! It's indian dried shawarma !!😄 the bread is supposed to come with extra layer of crusty bread 😞 , they use big Arab bread and burn it ! Garlic cream is not successful at all, it's only garlic ! Check the recipe on YouTube, not that hard !

The fries are ready made (frozen ready most likely not fresh ! Nothing fresh ! And they charge high prices !!! It's stealing people on one side and feeding them literally trash on the other side !

They should really taste their own food ! Or learn how to cook ! We gave this restaurant many chances since they opened it and never changed ! These people are there only to make money not to make a name !

So meat quality 2/10 Vegetables and salads 3/10 Presenting the food 1/10 Packing 3/10

Just an advice: They need to work reall hard to improve otherwise I don't think they will continue with...

I usually order the grilled chicken—it’s the best I’ve had! I lived in Dubai for 8 years and have always craved Arabic food, so I was thrilled to find this friendly and high-quality restaurant here in Malta. The food is always fresh, served hot, and very clean. I’ve ordered many times and just can’t stop—I’ll definitely keep coming back again and again!

The cook/chef is very kind and friendly. Don’t hesitate to ask how you’d like your food prepared—he’s always happy to accommodate. May Allah bless this restaurant and the wonderful people...
