update: unsure whether it is now under new management, but it has rebranded/ merged with orange blossom and it has taken a major hit. The quantity has decreased and the quality and taste taken a major hit, was very dissapointed with my recent orders. A very disappointing turn of event for a place which was turning out to be a great place.

original: Very conveniently located. Good and tasty food, does not disappoint on that end. very good variety of food, ranging from turkish, to sino-mauritian to stuff like birani and Halim as well. However, a bit heavy handed with the salt and oil. Also the pictures to not reflect the reality for portion sizes and food. Considering portion sizes the price a bit expensive but quality and taste makes up for it. Very few seating space call ahead to reserve, also despite calling be prepared to reach and learn that your order is not ready yet or has not yet been started at all. Or that despite your booking they do not have the requested item at hand and you will now be requested to pick something else. There delivery service is not up to par, although this is not technically there fault as i think they g through a third party. Sometime drivers will ask you for more money for the delivery than what was originally agreed upon.

Has potential to be 5 star but work is needed, have rated a three (generously) due to considerations for birthing pains and time to accommodate a new business, will definitely revisit this rating in future. update: while often advertises freebies and tastings dont expect to just be handed these you probably will have to actually...

Adali Turkish and Local Cuisine - Great Concept, Delicious Flavors

Adali Turkish and Local Cuisine, located on La Rue Labourdonnais in Port Louis, is a brilliant concept that successfully fuses authentic Turkish dishes with local flavors.

The Food: The wood oven is clearly put to good use, lending a wonderful, authentic taste to the offerings. The menu options are great, and we found the food to be really good and tasteful. If you are counting calories, you'll appreciate that the portions are a little bit on the smaller side, making it easy to enjoy the flavors without overdoing it.

The Service: The service was a highlight. The young lady serving us was incredibly nice and helpful, maintaining a great attitude despite us changing our minds multiple times.

Location & Parking: Being in Port Louis, parking can be a challenge. Parking is dependent on luck with street spots, so be prepared to drive around or consider one of the nearby paid lots if street parking isn't available.

Good service, good food. Not the typical Tandoori kebabs here. It's possible to call in advance so you don't need to wait too long. Seating capacity is a little limited, though.
