It’s amazing that the museum is free of charge. The exhibition is simple, but there is definitely plenty to see and read. It was really interesting! What is truly striking is the incredible story of the dodo. It’s remarkable how the islanders managed to turn this tragedy — the story of human cruelty, greed, and selfishness — into a beautiful legend, where the dodo appears on their national currency and has become a national symbol. The one interesting area was a section dedicated to the dodo where you can find a near-full skeleton of the dodo whilst also providing some insight into the history of the dodo and research into finding remains.
