Sushi Park, Mahogany — Restaurant in Isle Mauritius

If you truly appreciate high-quality food and real sushi — unfortunately, this is not the place for you. I came here specifically looking for good taste and fresh ingredients, but I was disappointed.

There wasn’t a single customer in the restaurant during lunchtime — which, I believe, says a lot. The low turnover seems to affect the quality of the food.

And I have to add — I don’t know what the chef was grilling or smoking back there, considering I was the only guest in the restaurant, but the smoke filled the entire dining area. I can’t imagine what the air would be like if all the tables were occupied.

The scallops I ordered were rubbery, clearly not fresh. They were overloaded with garlic and onion, completely overpowering the natural flavor of the seafood.

If you don’t really care what you eat, then maybe this place will do. But for those used to proper Japanese cuisine, I’d recommend...
