The Berliner Kebab, Mahogany — Restaurant in Isle Mauritius

First and Last time.

This is one of the very rare cases where i strongly regret spending Rs299 on food + rs10 takeaway (which is just another sheet of paper added on the original wrap)

Staff ok. Menu, kind of straightforward.

But food quality, so bad! I am only typing this review to warn others.

At first the portion seems ok, the bread got a nice weight to it but that's it. The veggies was the only good thing and it was placed on top only, very little though. As for the chicken inside, super salty and dry! I ate half of it and cannot finish it. For sauce, you get to choose 2 free sauce, and even chilli or tomato counts as a paid add-on.

Tastes nothing like a proper doner kebab. The chicken was bland, the sauce was mediocre and the bread was not even pita bread; it was more like a very flat toasted burger bread. It was lacking spices, authentic taste, FRESH SALAD(which would have made the whole taste so much better!) You would have definitely wished for more looking at the restaurant's name. This isn't doner kebab, and they did not even try one bit to make it how shops in the UK, Europe, Greece etc would. Was hyped to have a kebab here post-gym. Having been to Berlin on numerous occasions, I was looking forward to having a German-influenced kebab. What I was presented with was nothing at all like any kebab I’ve ever had in my life. The meat was tough, chewy and gristly.
