We had the best time at Crania!

The cocktails were superb and the dishes were absolutely marvellous and extremely unique. Come hungry! We were unable to get through the fourth course which we were devastated about because it was divine. We managed to get a few bites of desert in because we couldn’t resist. I can’t wait to come back here and do this experience again! One of the best meals I had while visiting BCS.

The service was absolutely incredible. Our server was extremely sweet and attentive. We also loved Diego, one of the other people working there! The lounge was stunning and eclectic. Great vibe.

We stayed at the air disco after and really enjoyed the music. The fires on the dance floor were great for keeping cozy as this time of year is chilly. Great party!!!

I also want to mention the manager Daniel and Marta went above and beyond for us. We arrived in town to find out the Airbnb we had booked that had been confirmed wasn’t available, leaving us without accommodation. Crania’s accommodations were all booked but they went the extra mile to help us try to find a spot for the night. We ended up finding something, but they hooked us up with a beautiful stay on the beach for our last night here. We were so grateful and truly felt in great hands.

Very unique restaurant/venue. The pop up chef's tasting menu that we attended on 12/17 was DELICIOUS and extremely fun. Unfortunately, my sister left her purse in the bathrooms for less than 5 minutes. There was a "security" employee at the bathrooms who said she found it immediately and set it aside for us. When we got it back, all of her pesos (about 2000 pesos) were removed. Although I cannot say for sure if she (security) took it, she stated that she was the one to find it in the stall after my sister used it. Additionally, we had to book the pop-up restaurant via OpenTable, where we were charged for the entire dinner plus 20% gratuity up front. When they brought me the bill at dinner, the full price was on there. I had to show them my receipt via email, which surprised the staff (odd considering, this was your only option via opentable). Afterwards, they removed the cost of dinner but stated that the employees did not "receive any of the gratuity" I had been charged via opentable. Our server (Pablo) was incredible and very nice, so I gave him additional tips in case this was true, but where is the 20% via opentable going? Crania is clearly a venue for tourists to attend and experience a mini "burning man"-type night. I wish we did not feel taken...

Service is awful but the vibe is cool! Came with some friends and got free early entrance which was nice. It was pretty empty when we arrived at 11pm so the party starts late. It’s also low season but I’m sure it’s more fun usually. It is very sandy so don’t wear heels, I ended up walking around barefoot. Despite not having much people there at the time, we were neglected for 15 minutes then waited another 20ish minutes for our drink to be made and it ended up being the worst espresso martini I’ve ever had. It looked cute but no flavor, just espresso and vodka that cost $16 USD. Usually there’s baileys or kahlua to counter the intensity but every girl I had take a sip of it made a face. It was a 2/10 drink. The music was solid if you like house. Music area was quite small and people will get mad because you’re dancing too close to them, even though they’re literally just standing and chatting in the middle of such a small space. You can go somewhere else in the entire place for chatter. I honestly don’t care...
