Q’chimba Gastrobar — Restaurant in Baja California Sur

Wow! What a great find! If I could give it more stars I would. The Q'Chimba burger was absolutely amazing. I hope my photo does justice to the awesome presentation. The flavor of the mix of burger and sausage was fantastic and there was a awesome garlic sauce as well as another sauce which were both delicious.

It was more than just the food though. The service was really excellent and design was just perfect and I found out really why all of this was so good when I met the owner Alberto who came to say hello and we talked for probably 45 minutes and he is the real reason behind why everything is so excellent.

It's so clear that he has such passion for his place and he really designed the place top to bottom from the iron work that frames the entire restaurant to the flowering plants that surround you in the seats to the menu itself to I am sure how well he trains his waiters it's a level of care and attention that you don't find in places usually at this price point in dining. It was a five star experience at budget price.

I wasn't expecting to have such a great dining experience, I just needed to grab dinner after shopping at Walmart next door and found it on Google. I'm so glad it was there. I will for sure be back the next time I'm in SJDC!

One last thing if you read this far - I didn't have the ribs but a group who was finishing when I got there was raving about the ribs being probatthe best they ever had an do wouldn't be surprised if they were right!

First time viewing in Cabo, and this was our first restaurant. The best discovery ever in San Jose del Cabo! First, they accept VISA credit cards, which was a lifesaver since we were starving leaving SJD airport. To the SJD airport, it was only 19 mins drive, and the restaurant is across a Walmart! Now to the food, the hamburger and the french fries were amazing! The Q'Chimba hamburger was my favorite. It was so unique and would recommend people to try it The portions were huge and full filling. I was able to met the owner of the restaurant, and he was so friendly and welcoming. Antes de conocer este lugar, pensaba que era difícil encontrar comida colombiana realmente buena en la zona, especialmente cuando se trata de hamburguesas, alitas y boneless con ese sabor casero, auténtico y lleno de sazón. Pero Q’ Chimba no solo ofrece eso, lo mejora.

Además de su comida deliciosa, lo que realmente me hizo volver fue su excelente servicio al cliente. La atención de Alberto y su esposa que es de colombia es de lo mejor. Son personas humildes, amables y apasionadas por lo que hacen. Hacen que cada visita sea especial, con una buena plática, una sonrisa y un ambiente súper ameno.

Para mí, lo más valioso ha sido ver cómo negocios con alma, como Q’ Chimba, logran conectar con sus clientes a través de su sabor y su trato humano. Por eso no solo lo recomiendo, lo aplaudo.
