Rip off. The breaded fish (perico) was thick and too toasted making it hard, the chile rellenos were overcooked and gave me an upset stomach. The prices are RIDICULOUSLY EXPENSIVE! The service was ok, they made us food not on their menu but it was way more expensive than eating at the local resort, this is on a dirt street, no windows, no ac, just a corner joint that should be inexpensive. Came for dinner and was not disappointed. The complimentary soup was delicious. We had a combination dinner and a shrimp Alfredo fettuccini. The combo dinner was very good. The shrimp stuffed chili relleno was really good and the fish was cooked perfectly. The portions are very big. Be warned, we could have shared the combination dinner and been full. . Everything is made with love and care! So much flavor too. I actually saw pieces of garlic in my rice. The first restaurant I've experienced in Los Barriles that has taken time to properly season their rice. Their chile relleno was WAY better than a gross, overpriced one I had in San Jose.
