Al Fresko Valle — Restaurant in Baja California

Visited Sep 18, 2023- the prices are reasonable for being El Valle. Food was fresh and delicious. We ordered the shrimp skewers, steak sandwiches, and potato wedges. We shared a little of everything. The waiter Eduardo gave us great service and recommended a whole fish with sides of other seafood dish for us to try next time.

The only thing we didn’t like was the dogs in dining area. The dogs began fighting and then jumped a few times on my kids trying to get some of their food. Then one of them pooped near our table. Not sure if they belonged to another guest.

We’re so enamored by Al Fresko that we’ve been here 3 times already. It’s located right off the Ruta de Vino, so it’s easy to find without driving on the potholed dirt roads if you have a small car. The place is sexy, feminine and cozy. Our last visit was with a large group enabling us to try everything on the menu. The food was on point, beautiful and delicious. From the Baja oysters to the cheese board and arrachera and Tomahawk steak, everyone was pleased. The hosts/owners were gracious and hospitable. The vibes here are really special. I’ve lived here in baja for 5 years and we love the Valle but something was missing and I couldn’t pinpoint what that thing was….Until we stumbled on this new spot. We were so pleasantly surprised and loved the hearty (and beautiful) platters & the owner Jenny & her puppy.
