Churrascaria Do Brasil Macro — Restaurant in Baja California

My wife and I went here recently because I thought I would treat her for her birthday I've heard a lot about this place so we decided to drive down from Los Angeles. The food was good especially for the price that we paid however the bill was $1,315 pesos which was about $69 and some change however I left the waiter 1400 pesos exactly so 85 peso tip which is a little bit more than $4 (I had spent up all of our pesos that day but I was going to tell my wife if she could leave the waiter a few more dollars for a tip when she came back down from the restroom) so i handed it to him he came back to me as my wife and was walking out of the restroom and pretty much begged that we leave at least a 10% tip. He kind of made a big deal out of it too it was so funny because I literally was going to give him more money I didn't really know what to say at that point. But I agreed. I said sure no problem. Thanks for your service. I asked my wife to give me a few more dollars. I gave him an extra 5 dollar bill and as my wife and I were walking out he runs up to us and had the audacity to hand us change from the $5 bill because apparently 10% would have only been $2.50 more than what I had originally gave him. I said no that's fine you keep it. My wife and I will not be going back there because I do not like when people beg for a tip especially when the service wasn't even all that great. In comparison to their other two locations, this one lacks in

1. Service: The waiters kept offering us food even when the indicator was in red. The meat they offered was the same as the past rounds. We had to remind them to bring over cups for some of the people in our party. At the end, the waitress that was checking us out was not clear about the service + fee tip. Even after we paid, one of the waiters tried to make us go back to pay a 19 people ticket (for a party of 7) and then when we corrected him he told us we needed to leave a tip. (After the questionable service we received??)

2. The QR menu was not readable by our phones so we didn't have a way to review pricing for drinks + extras. They offered to us tequila, baileys and ice cream without disclosing the price first (We had no way of checking the price and the price of those items is really high).

Overall, I will NOT be coming back to this location even if Im near, Is rather go back and visit one of the other two. Paying more gas for a decent service, Id...

I went there a couple of weeks ago and I can honestly say that it was better than I expected!

Everything was great! The food was delicious, the prices very affordable, the costumer service and waiters were friendly and attentive with us the entire time. I also liked their location, very accesible.

I'm looking forward to be back soon. Even tho the price might be a little high for the average costumer, the quality of the food is one of the best that I've ever tried.

Also, the place was very clean, more than I thought it would be. They also had a great service regarding the pandemic situation, they had measurements, like distance between the people, temperature and everything.
