Restaurant Review: An Unforgettable Experience
I recently dined at La reyna for dia de los muertos, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish.
Food: A Culinary Delight The menu featured a remarkable array of dishes, each showcasing fresh ingredients and innovative flavors. I began with the aguachiles which was a perfect blend of textures and tastes, setting the stage for what was to come. For the main course, I opted for the pescado zarandeado and it was simply divine. The meat was cooked to perfection, tender and full of flavor, accompanied by seasonal vegetables that were vibrant and delicious. Finally, I couldn't resist the margarita de pepino which was a great complement with the meal—rich yet balanced, it left me craving more.
Service: Attentive and Friendly The service was equally impressive. Our server was knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations and ensuring our glasses were never empty. Their attentiveness struck the perfect balance; we felt well-cared-for without being overwhelmed. Each staff member exuded warmth and professionalism, making us feel like valued guests throughout the evening.
Views: A Scenic Backdrop One of the highlights of the evening was the breathtaking views from our table. La reyna is perfectly situated to offer panoramic sights of the ocean, enhancing the dining experience. As the sun set, the changing colors of the sky created a picturesque backdrop that made our meal even more special.
In summary, La reyna offers an incredible trifecta of delicious food, outstanding service, and stunning views. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner or a special celebration, this place is a must-visit. I can’t...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at La Reyna in Rosarito, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of interstellar. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality that set the tone for the entire meal.
The food was exceptional, but I have to give a special mention to the complimentary bread and salsa. The bread was fresh and perfectly baked, a delightful start to our dining experience. The salsa, served alongside, was a burst of flavors that complemented the bread wonderfully. It’s little touches like these that elevate a meal from good to unforgettable.
A special shout out to Salvador, who provided impeccable service throughout our visit. His attentiveness and friendly demeanor made our time at the restaurant even more enjoyable. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and made excellent recommendations.

Read moreLet me start off by saying that this restaurant is a GEM. Situated atop a magnificent hilltop gated community, this restaurant is sure to be one of THE premier dining experiences to grace Baja IN A LONG TIME. The food was fabulous, the attention to detail and responsiveness of the owner Carolina Reyna (sp) are hands down a showing of class and hustle for today’s entrepreneur. The view was breathtaking and despite a small hiccup getting to the Restaurant (it is in a gated community so you might have some push back from the gate if not leaving your identification with them while you dine- I would suggest leaving a Costco card rather than your driver’s license) we were delighted to enjoy the food, music and ambiance that this nicely decorated, newly opened GEM provides. Kudos to the owners for bringing fine dining to Baja! ...
