Great place but super busy so make sure to place a reservation on instagram. The place is just beautiful , great service , simple menu but the food was very good and not over priced. The reason I’m giving 3 stars is because the restaurant was extremely cold and I couldn’t enjoy the food the way it should be . Some other people where complaining and ask if the could close the main door but the management says no . I honestly was disappointed from the answer. Other then that everything was great but will never invite friends on a cold night. I will tried the restaurant in the early afternoon and hopefully will get a better experience. But after few weeks I went back early afternoon with few friends and we had the greatest experiences. So now I give it 5 stars

I recently visited Maxico, a Mexican food restaurant, and had a wonderful experience. The service was attentive from the moment we arrived. An extra order of French toast was brought to our table by mistake, and we decided to keep it because it looked so delicious. Both the croissant French toast and the berry French toast were highlights for me, and I would definitely order them again. I also had the omelet de chilaquiles rojos, which was delicious. Since I like my food spicy, I added some of their matcha sauce on top, which was a perfect complement. My husband and I shared a gordita de chicharrón, and he commented on how good it tasted and that it was freshly made by hand. I loved that the gorditas were soft and not fried, adding to their appeal. The drinks were equally delicious, enhancing the overall dining experience. More than anything, Maxico is a beautiful place with a great atmosphere. There are various performances to enjoy, which are fun to watch and not intrusive like bands going table to table. Overall, I highly recommend Maxico for a delightful dining experience. --- Recientemente visité Maxico, un restaurante de comida mexicana, y tuve una experiencia maravillosa. El servicio fue atento desde el momento en que llegamos. Nos trajeron una orden extra de tostadas francesas por error, y decidimos quedárnosla porque se veía deliciosa. Tanto la tostada francesa de croissant como la tostada francesa de bayas fueron lo más destacado para mí, y definitivamente las pediría de nuevo. También tuve el omelet de chilaquiles rojos, que estaba delicioso. Como me gusta la comida picante, le añadí un poco de su salsa de matcha, que complementó perfectamente. Mi esposo y yo compartimos una gordita de chicharrón, y él comentó lo bien que sabía y que estaba hecha a mano. Me encantó que las gorditas fueran suaves y no fritas, lo que las hacía aún más atractivas. Las bebidas también estaban deliciosas, lo que mejoró aún más la experiencia gastronómica. Más que nada, Maxico es un lugar hermoso con una gran atmósfera. Hay varias actuaciones para disfrutar, que son divertidas de ver y no intrusivas como las bandas que van de mesa en mesa. En general, recomiendo encarecidamente Maxico para una experiencia gastronómica encantadora.

I went twice in one day. Service was fine the first time for breakfast but the server got my order wrong. I should have went with the first order. I ended up with tomato canned soup with an egg omlete with two random pieces of hard chicharrón on top. Mimosa was lame: I asked for juice on the side and there was a cherry inside which literally raised the volume. They also gave me 1/2 the glass. The Bloody Mary was ok but again don’t expect anything grand. Pink bubbly was too sweet. Apparently they don’t know how to make coffee the old school way and there was no coffee until 11am. But the ambiance and venue is basically amazing. Take all the pictures and video, the garden and building are astonishing. I really wanted to give this place a chance so I made reservations for lunch. What a disaster!!!! Ordering took for ages. My old aunt drank her coffee and then they informed us it wasn’t free anymore after 1pm No free bread. Finally when we received 1/2 the food. Cold everything was cold and nasty. My grand uncle was so hungry he ate his salmon cold. There’s a million servers and and no one to help I ended up flagged someone down and telling them. They attempted to reheated the steaks and they basically came back warm and gross (like when you put a steak In the microwave) Would I come here again? No The structures and garden didn’t save it the second time. And extremely overpriced Oh the tuna was fishy The passion fruit shrimp just tasty like fishy candy

This place is okay.. the ambience is pretty cool. Half of the staff seemed kind while the other half seemed irritated. I went over the menu with our waiter and discussed the dishes, there are two rib eye dishes: just rib eye and one aguachile rib eye. My husband and I each ordered the rib eye but the waiter had accidentally brought out the aguachile one. At this point we are both two drinks in and they move us from the bar to a table and switch waiters. We keep waiting for our food for almost an hour ( since they brought out the wrong dish) and during that time I had 3 different waiters ask me if I was ready to order, I kept explaining I already ordered. It seems they forgot to re input our correct order… eventually our rib eyes came out. We both ordered them medium and they came out rare (it definitely was rushed)… we ate around the raw parts of the meat but the meat wasn’t even seared and we didn’t enjoy it. We had at 5 different waiters attending us in total and none were on the same page. One of the nicer waiters offered a free dessert. We declined since we had already been there for 2 hours.. Still left the standard tip since there were nice waiters but the overall experience lacks and we won’t be returning.

Editing my review since I've been back another 3 times, I stopped coming back for 2 years because of the last bad experience and now this is my last time because the food is no longer worth it. Again, the garden is stunning but you receive basic meals, my salad said it included pomegranate, of course it didn't have any. I should've read other reviews, they do list most of the flaws that I experienced again. There are many servers but the service is super slow, you have to flag them down to get attention. The place is beautiful and trendy but I'll take my chances with other spots to enjoy great food. The place is really nice, the drinks are delicious, a must try. Food is good, not over priced, quality is on spot! Yes the service could be faster but they do let you go to the back area with a nice view and some starter drinks; while you wait for your table. I went to celebrate my best friends bday, we loved the experience, staff is very friendly and explains details about food, drinks, place, etc. The wait is worth it, any place with delicious food has a wait time, enjoy the garden and just chill until your turn.

Máxico, an hacienda stuck in time hosting a different culinary experience. Máxico is known for their chilaquiles, barbacoa and Benedict eggs. Thai time we ordered The Chilaquiles Omelette which was decent but the Chipotle sauce it came with was amazing, the barbacoa I ordered as a side came in too salty, surprisingly. Regular vegetable omelette was decent. The corn pancakes in the other hand were increíble, moist, packed with flavor and texture. Also ordered a pistachio latte which did not taste like pistachio at all, pretty disappointing. It’s a full dessert. Great place specially, truly a beautiful restaurant.
