Good food, pleasant service. I went here because I wanted Lobster for my birthday. I wasn't disappointed. I had the New York steak with half a lobster, steamed veggies, soup, really good rice, baked potato, chips with salsa, pina colada, giant Margarita, and ended with a white russian which is vodka Kahlua and milk. 550 Mexican pesos including tip. We ate at the bar and unlike most bar stools these were comfortable chairs just higher. Staff did not rush us to order and were always there when we needed them. It was a very very pleasant evening and I would be happy to return. In fact I probably will because there were other things on their menu that looks really inviting!

Everything we ordered and everything that came with our order was delicious! We had fish soup, Marlin Quesadilla with Chipotle sauce (which was super delicious), Puerto Nuevo Style Lobster with rice, beans, and freshly made tortillas (soooo good), grilled red snapper, and flan with liqueur. The place was really dated, but the food was yummy and Jerry's customer service was excellent!

I was a bit disappointed with the size of the lobster. I got the lobsters Porto Nuevo Style and out of the Four Tails they barely had one to one and a half bytes each of meat. Curry fries beans was good my husband had some of the rice the homemade potatoes were fantastic and reminded of my grandma's and the soup was good also. I'm much prefer Puerto Nuevo Numero Uno for Lobster

Anniversary dinner. Was planning El Nido but then got to reading reviews & El Nido's were not great but this place rocked. One of the best seafood meals we've ever had, all for $56 (great value). The whole menu was well priced. I had the grilled whole fish (red snapper, abt 1kg); wife had camarones costa azul. Both dishes were fabulous. Seafood caldo (soup) was perfect. The place is sparkling clean. Nice decor. In great repair. Deep, sparkling clean. Well kept up. Well managed. Good service. Quiet & intimate (no obnoxious music). Restrooms were the cleanest restaurant bathrooms I've seen in Baja. Last year we went all the way down to Puerto Nuevo and were, shall we say, underwhelmed and overcharged. I'll never go back to Puerto Nuevo. This place is highly recommended....

You ever walk in to an empty restaurant and have immediate regrets? That sinking feeling that the reviews steered you wrong? That was us tonight on a Monday night in the offseason at La Guerita. The music comes on. Norah Jones. That's nice. Augusto, our waiter greets us. Fish soup on the house. The margaritas come. Perfect. Calamari appetizer. Delicious. So much garlic. We order whole fish, half lobster and garlic shrimp. Grouper? My wife's favorite. Everything was spot on. I highly recommend this restaurant! Price? Not cheap but...
