This review has been updated (see second half) Great overall. Everyone is very attentive. If you don't like something be pleasant and tell the waiter. I got my chilaquiles very saggy- they were good but I prefer them crunchy. The host brought me a medium side at no charge the way I like them- crunchy. Re-reviewed: we came back about a year later (08/24) and the overall quality of this placed has plummeted: We arrived 10 am on a weekday were seated about 10:40 and them it was 12 pm and no food to our table. Two of us decided to leave with terrible food to go and at a more expensive price than 2023. Prices go up but quality of food and service should improve or stay constantly good. Unless this was a bad day for them or they have changed cooks or they didn't have enough employees working you will be disappointed... One of the managers came to apologize but didn't offer a discount or a free meal to show they were sorry for the bad service. Maybe management has changed hands ... When the quality of a restaurant dives deep then is time for an overhaul or risk getting reviews like this one....

Today everything was horrible from start to finish. My order had so many mistakes spam cut so thick might as well had being whole, the squash was raw and i asked for all egg whites and of course it wasnt the worst part i gave them a chance to fix it and they brought back the same plate obviously didn't eat it. My partners plate was three course meal salad no dressing, tortilla chips with salsa never came and to top it off the chicken was raw when we returned it they brought it back and said it wasn't raw to eat it. Of course I said don't worry im not eating anything and ill pay for it not to worry about the money but I wasn't going to eat raw chicken or wrongly prepared food. There was no need for all of this being as we waited for a long time as they asked us because it was busy. Of course I payed for everything and didn't even get an apology or any incline that they were sorry. Its been one of my families favorite breakfast place for years but this is not something I can get over so for obvious reasons we are...

Second time coming here and second time that it was an underwhelming culinary experience. My family wanted to try it since they had not eaten here yet, so we went. The staff is friendly enough but the food left a lot to be desired. My brother in law had the chilaquiles with steak, the steak lacked flavor completely. I had the machaca with potatoes and eggs. Eggs were good, hard to get eggs wrong. The portions of machaca and potatoes, as well as the beans were super small, almost a joke actually. The coffee was nothing special whatsoever. The place looks nice and all but totally unimpressed with the food. Plenty of empty tables when we went but still had to wait to be seated. I don’t recommend it. Another over hyped spot in Playas de Tijuana. Rather have the tacos varios on Paseo Ensenada by the car wash, cheaper and more flavor. The pancakes were okay....
