I have visited both the Downtown and Playas location. I must say, 9 out of 10 times I have had 5 star, amazing service, especially from Alex. This Saturday at the Playas was different. I stopped in with a friend for 2 shots of espresso. After waiting over 15 minutes, I asked the waiter what happened. He said ours was up next. After waiting an additional 5 minutes, I went to the barista, who stated we were next. I waited an additional 5 minutes, and at this point went to the counter and asked for a refund. The barista became angry and attempted to throw money at me. I reprimanded him and left, however the service of and actions of this barista are unacceptable in any walk of professional business. Was horrible cuz i ordered a dirty chai latte en las rocas (cold)... then she asked me “hot”... i said “no, en las rocas... cold”. Then I sit down and waited for the coffee, and she gave a hot coffee, and I told her it was cold and not hot. She got mad and she said "you asked for a hot coffee and it says it on the ticket", and It AGAIN that no, and my friends also said no.
