Looked like a must go to place. The order was taken quickly in this cute quaint little cafe in anticipation seeing the other peoples orders we were very excited. 2 lattes, a water, chilaquiles and french toast were ordered as the previous reviews had said they were the best. However the service overshadowed the atmosphere slightly, it took around 20 minutes just to get our lattes and a further 15 minutes to get our food, the waitress had her back to the restaurant the entire time, did not come to check up on us while we were eating, we had finished our coffess while waiting for the food so had ordered another 3 but we were almost complete with our food and then the waitress did not remove the empty cups while giving us fresh ones. The coffees were ok, but the french toast absolutely amazing the taste with the cinnamon and the honey, the red fruits and decoration amazing. The chilaquiles were fantastic! Not your classic chilaquiles, the sauce had a intriguing flavour that made me keep eating even though I was full. If you dont mind the service and the wait time then you are in for an absolute treat...
Read moreI ordered the fresh fruit salad with granola and yoghurt "mousse" and honey. The presentation was nice. The yoghurt was super sugary and didn't taste like yoghurt. Good granola. The honey would have been too much sweetness. Also ordered the hashbrown waffle. Good but cooking hash brown potatoes in a waffle iron just makes them dry. But the topping of eggs with Serano ham saved the dish. The menu says this dish will take 25 minutes to prepare but it took 40 minutes. And the restaurant was not busy. The service was friendly and I enjoyed sitting outside on a sunny December morning so the wait didn't bother me. Can't really evaluate a place without going more than once or twice, so give it a try. It's pretty good. It's not like Campeche is famous...
Read moreOn our way from Merida to Villahermosa, we were looking for a place to brunch, we decided to take a 15 min detour to find this unique place. We were favorably impressed by the quality of the food and also the freshness. Great presentation of the place, despite it not being Mexican food, it's a great spot for breakfast or brunch. Everything that was brought to our table looked better than the picture and was a feast for our taste buds! Never seen a French...
