We asked our uber driver where a really good inexpensive seafood restaurant was in Cancun and she gave us the name of this restaurant. We were not disappointed in the least. If you’re looking for fancy, this is not it. If you’re looking for good local Mexican home cooking, this is the place. We traveled from the hotel zone during rush hour and it took about 25 min, but well worth it. They close at 6 so we got there at 5pm which was plenty of time. We had fresh guacamole, and the mixed ceviche for starters which was fantastic. Then we ordered a whole fried fish cooked in some sort of garlic sauce. It too was excellent. We love off the beaten path type places. The owner who said they’ve been there for 37 years cooked the fish himself. We wrapped up with a slice of Flan between the 2 of us. Service was great as well. Read moreWe looked for an authentic fish and seafood place and they didn't disappoint! We had fried fish, ceviche de mariscos and gratinado de camaron. Food was so plentiful, we had plenty leftover to take home. The taste was amazing, that ceviche was just perfect and the fried fish was sliding off the bones. My daughter loved her shrimp gratinada with lots of cheese on top. Everyone was so kind and friendly even though they probably stayed a bit late for us, on Christmas eve. We're looking forward to eating again here...

Lo que hemos probado en varias ocasiones que hemos ido, nos ha gustado. Cuando pides un ceviche, al momento te cortan el tomate y la cebolla (Hemos ido a otros sitios, que tienen muchísima clientela y con horas de anticipación tienen cortadas las cubetas de tomate y cebolla y para mí ya no es lo mismo). El lugar es pequeño, siempre nos han dado buena atención, variedad de cerveza bien fria a precio razonable....
