Loved the atmosphere and staff. They were able to make French fries for breakfast, we were warned about the long wait but it wasn’t too bad since we came early enough and looked over the menu.
The drinks were delicious and so was food, including salmon bagel. I will say this, their version of juevos rancheros is slightly different from the Texas/Mexican version but still good.
Yes it was expensive! We paid about $44 for two including drinks and the side of fries, but apparently that is the norm if it’s not a taco stand. So that was an unexpected cost but honestly with how disappointing every other mainstream location was I’m glad my money went here. Yes I know it was very gentrified but again we were craving...

I’m used to this here, but the place is small without any outdoor seating and the blenders are, or course, loud so the ambience wasn’t pleasurable for waiting…and waiting…and waiting for a so-so latte. The banana bread was nice and moist, though. I decided not to get breakfast based on seeing the pastries come from a bag (possibly baked elsewhere and brought in?) and my guess that breakfast would be a long engagement. This was not because the women working there were slow- they were working...
