Loved the atmosphere and staff. They were able to make French fries for breakfast, we were warned about the long wait but it wasn’t too bad since we came early enough and looked over the menu.

The drinks were delicious and so was food, including salmon bagel. I will say this, their version of juevos rancheros is slightly different from the Texas/Mexican version but still good.

Yes it was expensive! We paid about $44 for two including drinks and the side of fries, but apparently that is the norm if it’s not a taco stand. So that was an unexpected cost but honestly with how disappointing every other mainstream location was I’m glad my money went here. Yes I know it was very gentrified but again we were craving...

This is the kind of spot that does well as it is the only cute coffee shop in the neighborhood. The food is pretty good, the design of the place is very cute and comfortable. The coffee is only ok, I doubt they have anyone with professional barista experience on staff as their cappuccinos come out resembling / tasting like something you could probably get at a gas station. The milk / espresso / foam ratios are off. The staff is hit and miss, I went one day and was treated well, but the vary next day the employees seemed very indifferent and a bit rude. I stood at the bar for a few moments without being greeted or paid any attention to, it wasn't until I asked if someone could take my order that someone...

My experience was not great here. It was very busy but the ordering system was nonexistent, so kind of chaotic. I’m used to this here, but the place is small without any outdoor seating and the blenders are, or course, loud so the ambience wasn’t pleasurable for waiting…and waiting…and waiting for a so-so latte. The banana bread was nice and moist, though. I decided not to get breakfast based on seeing the pastries come from a bag (possibly baked elsewhere and brought in?) and my guess that breakfast would be a long engagement. This was not because the women working there were slow- they were working...

Stayed above this cafe for a week, and I stopped in a few times for coffee and a bite to eat. On the staff there is a guy who speaks decent English, and there’s a woman who’s doesn’t really speak English at all. However, it’s cute and modern gem. Compared to the other restaurants and things around it really is modernally (not a word) decorated and designed. I got the avocado toast with smoked salmon. That was very tasty. They charge for to-go cups and things though, just a few extra cents. So eat in if you can and enjoy the space. It’s super cute.
