El Muchacho Alegre — Restaurant in Chihuahua

Horrible experience at this restaurant on New Years evening. We ordered a bucket of beers and they took over an hour to arrive even after asking different waiters what was the hold up. When we finally got our Coronas I asked for limes and we had the same issue. The table next to us was served promptly and they appeared to know the waiters on a personal level. Would not recommend this place to anyone. We would have left and gone somewhere else but since it’s New Year’s Day not much else is open. The food was good but don’t sit in the outside area because the heaters are “out of gas” and you’ll be freezing along...

The food wasn't tasty at all. We were a party of 17 and no one was satisfied with their meal. The service was basic, I realized that we were a party of 17, but the waiter tried his best. Una verdadera decepción, ya había acudido en otras ocasiones y me había encantado. Sin embargo, esta última visita fue una muy mala experiencia. Nos sentaron en una mesa sucia, que limpiaron solo porque se los pedimos. Después de tomarnos la orden, en verdad tardaron años en llevarla y para colmo incompleta. Se les repitió en distintas ocasiones lo que hacía falta y se pidió una segunda ronda de platillos, los cuales nuevamente tardaron eternidades cuando ya casi ni gente había en el lugar, nunca entendí la demora y jamás llevaron los faltantes del primer pedido. Después dijeron que se les olvidó, luego que se enfrió y lo estaban recalentado, al final, que siempre no, pero que ya lo estaban preparando. Lo peor de todo fuera del mal servicio y la mala atención de los 3 meseros qué iban y que entre todos no se hacía uno, era la banda que tocaba horrible y a un volumen super alto que hace imposible poder platicar y una estancia muy incómoda.
