La Misión — Restaurant in Coahuila

I have given the place a try many times in the past few years and the chef is not good. Please bring back the local old ladies who cooked years ago. They cooked the best tasting, fresh foods and we loved it. All the locals are saying rhe exact same. The place is so pretty and nice but the food does not match. I had a picadillo plate and was basically dry ground beef. My son had a tortilla soup that was only broth with tortilla strips. He said it was nothing to it. Husband had the chicken soup and liked it. We did like the picture of natural lemonade which taste amazing! Unfortunately i won't be going back sadly. I hope they change for no chef and bring back the old ladies. Hotel is beautifully designed with restaurant. I hope this is taken as constructive criticism that you can fix. Cuando el restaurante abrió por primera ves todos queríamos comer en el restaurante Maielena ..era una delicia la comida sus postres y la atencion era inmejorable... Cuando comenzó la renovación de lugar lo cambiaron a un lado ..y cambió todo ..pésimo servicio pésima comida..el 10 de mayo fue bufet de marisco ..solo se podía pedir platillo para niños ..no había menú....el día del padre igual esta ves carne asada ..y lo demás puro picante un guacamole sintético sin sabor a aguacate... Algo paso en el restaurante.. en mi opinión .NO AY ARMONIA EN LA COCINA CAMBIARON DE COSINEROS O ALTERARON LA COCINA CON PERSONAL QUE NO SABE COSINAR.... PERDIERON SAZON..ETC.... Y NO AY CAPITAN DE MESEROS ES UN DESCONTROL TOTAL POR MAS QUE LOS CHICOS SE ESFUERCEN NO AY QUIEN LOS DIRIJA ...TODO ESTA MUY MAL... Ahora que ya están en la esquina ..esta aun peor ... hoy fuimos por tercera ves con la esperanza de que todo este como antes... pero sigue aun más mal... vimos como una mesa de más de 10 personas se levantaron y se fueron porque nunca los atendieron... Y creo que fue lo mejor ...ya no saben hacer las enchiladas rojas solos les vacían el chile encima y olvidan el queso ..ya no distingen de un pollo a la plancha de uno a la parrilla ...y te dicen es lo mismo solo que el otro lleva una papa al horno... ojalá y vuelvan a cocinar como cuando abrieron... Cuando cocinaba la señora Juanita... P. D. Si son 2 mesas pongan 2 salsas y 2 platos de totopos ... es tan incomodo tener solo uno ...ya que antes ponían platinos por comensal ahora nada...y si les piden dicen ahora así es el reglamento del restaurante. This place is really good if you want to try local food, the Enchiladas taste really good. I will totally recommend to visit this restaurant because they did a good job, the service was fast and it was not so crowded. The food presentation is really good. Don't forget to try the enchiladas con mole!, this is my favorite food and it taste really good here.
