Tacos Mexico — Restaurant in Durango

Tacos Mexico is the place to go after a long, tiring day when you just want to sit in a semi-dark corner, sip on a huge glass of horchata or Jamaica (hisbiscus/sorrel - refresh and delicious btw), and eat your food in peace. The night we went, it was a bit crowded, and we were in close proximity to a party of semi-rowdy bikers - muy interesante! But the food! El Esposo ordered both of us. We both had what I guess is a sampler plate. It was filled with 4 taquitos, filled with either creamy potato filling or carne, two heavy fried gorditas filled with spicy birria (?), and a huge sope filled with chicken and generously topped with a salad of fresh lettuce, ripe tomato, crumbly queso, and ribboned with crema. Son los mejores tacos dorados, están muy bien servidos, con sufiente verdura, crema, queso uuummm delicioso, sus deliciosas salsas de aguacate, roja, verde, y no sólo sus tacos sino los gisos con lo que preparan los sopes, gorditas, burros, quesadillas, en pocas palabras super delicioso 😋 se los recomiendo.
