Excellent food. The chef owner is actually Italian and the food is very authentic. I gadvthe spaghetti carbonara and it was absolutely perfect. They don't have any Chianti by the glass, and I really didn't care for the selection they did have by the glass. So I bought a bottle of the Chianti and they let me take what was left over home with me which was great. The only disappointment was the dessert menu they had the ubiquitous tiramisu that every Italian restaurant on that planet seems to want to serve you but no Zabaglione (AKA zabajone, sabayon) 😢 my favorite Italian dessert. Instead I had what I guess you would call one of those flourless chocolate cake desserts. It was very good but insanely rich. I ate only a couple bites of it and send the rest home with my companion for his sister, she loves sweets. But it was very good. The setting is very pleasant, the decour is warm and inviting and the chairs were super comfortable. Service was very good very professional. When I asked them if they could do me a zabaglione, the waiter actually went into the kitchen and brought the owner / Chef out to explain why they couldn't. I...
Read moreI went with a 10 person group from work. The place is small but has a lot of charm. We started with a meat and cheese plate that came with a house made goat cheese that was to die for (If you like the richness of goat cheese that is). Main coarse size was a bit small but was priced accordingly for what I would call a mid high end restaurant. Though it was a small portion size, the lobster ravioli was amazing to the last bite. My wife order off menu and had chicken which they accommodated her with. For desert we had what I can only describe as a coffee jello topped with Bailey's and vanilla ice cream. It was very good and if you like coffee deserts, I would recommend it. Lastly, they had a very good wine menu. All in all it was a great experience. I...
Read moreBEST ITALIAN FOOD I’ve had in Mexico!! There is lots of italian restaurants, but none that was as tasty. The work behind every dish was outstanding. The owner was very friendly and super attentive. We received an amazing service. We orderded the Calabazas rellenas de costilla de cerdo on parmesan cream, one of the best dish we’ve had. Not too heavy, perfectly balanced and oh so yummy. My boyfriend said his porcino Risotto was out of this world flavorful. My lasagna was pefect! Fresh pasta, simple yet sooo good. The portions are also very generous. Great wine list and super good dessert and again huge (I had the fererro tiramisu, he had the profiterols) as well. I...
