A fantastic dining experience with incredible views of the Zihuatanejo Bay area - the best we've seen! A great place for a romantic dinner, a gathering with friends, or with family. We thought prices were quite reasonable, especially for the upscale feeling the restaurant has. Comparing what we spent at other restaurants, El Suspiro offers good value. The menu offers a good and varied selection of appetizers, soups, salads, pasta, seafood, feature dishes, and desserts. We had dinner here twice and tried different dishes each time and were not disappointed. Taste was great; presentation of dishes also very good. Save room for dessert and share an order of the Banana Flambe. Prepared at your table, the show is great and the resulting dish was delicious. Service by the staff is impeccable and attention to detail is the standard. From the time they greeted us and showed us to our table to the time they called us a taxi, the staff that looked after us were really good. The views are incredible, so bring your camera. Try and go for sunset if you want pictures; the skyline at night is also really nice, too. They accept credit cards, but I am confident that they also accept USD and of course, MXN Pesos.

We had almost every breakfast at El Suspiro, it was in walking distance from our Casa & after the first visit we enjoyed it so much we kept coming back. Breakfasts are pretty traditional Mexican style, the Chilaquiles, Sopes and Enchiladas are excellent, Canesta de Pan Dulce (sweet bread basket) and fruit plates were great too. Cannot beat the view. Service was very kind, it gets busy so try to arrive early for breakfast if you can!

First the good. A beautifully appointed restaurant, clean as a whistle with fantastic views. The food, as listed on the menu, had a totally different look when it arrived at the table. Our party of 6 celebrating an anniversary, received our meals at different times with half of us watching the first 3 and vice versa. They did bring a slice of cake to celebrate the occasion which was thoughtful. Overall, we have had significantly better meals and service for the price point so won't be...

Gorgeous views with very attentive and happy staff. For my wife and I the food was too rich. We are used to eating much lighter, avoid the heavy meats and cheeses. A few plant-based options would be great. After we’d finished our meal I overheard a patron request shrimp in garlic sauce with “very light butter”. (not on the menu and the waiter seemed agreeable). Mmmm, that sounds good - with a side of al dente veggies and, maybe, a...
