Just got back from Oltilia at Las Gatas. The service and our waiter were good, but the food was terrible. The ceviche was inedible, and the shrimp in it was not devained and it did not look or smell fresh. We could on eat It. It was the only place we ate ate in zihuat were I was truly worried about the quality of the food. Also, the shrimp tacos were very disappointing, but at least the shrimp in the tacos were devained. Most of the food was tasteless and made with very little care. I think this establishment has gotten used to and taken for granted the tourists and previous reviews. If you do go, then I recommend you stick to the drinks and guacamole, they were good. This place is Deffinetly Not worth the prices they were charging, and we would not eat there again no matter what they charge until their quality control improves. Was at two different locations, went to this one because of Franko, showed me around. Their restaurant is very very clean, bathrooms are super clean, and if you see ROCCO!! Give him a few head scratches, as he loves them.

The Shrimps are massive, and the fish tacos are wonderful. Didn't have my camera to take pictures, but you'll get the picture once you're there.

The service of the food was so fast, as I left my group as they were ordering. Walked a few restaurants down, made my order and the food was made fresh and not much time waiting. To be honest, after I was done, I went back to my group and their food still hasn't even showed up. Went for a walk, and came back 10 minutes later, it still wasn't there.

We were disappointed after hearing so many good things about this place. When we arrived in the morning, the waiter / person putting up the tables wouldn’t tell us when the restaurant would open… he just said later and that he didn’t know. We went back later and we couldn’t get his attention even though there were only two other people there. I asked in English how much for two chairs on the beach and he told me it would be $1500 pesos ($73 dollars) for consumption.
