Yesterday we went to Tony’s Bistro to take dinner. The parking was a little confusing at the beginning but as we found it they welcomed us nicely. Even tho we didn’t sit right on the edge, the view was spectacular. The place is decorated beautifully and seems to follow a concept. Only the music was a little too loud. The service was good only the presentation of the menu didn’t fit the overall concept of the restaurant. We ordered the “Linda” salad as a starter and it tasted good and had a unique twist. As a main dish we ordered the Korean style steak which tastes really good and the Rib-Eye steak which was also good but could have been a little more tender. They have a wide variety of drinks but unfortunately not too many non alcoholic ones. We had a nonalcoholic Mojito which tasted really good. The overall experience was nice and we had a good time...
Read moreThis is a must when visiting Acapulco! Easily made reservations for a party of 10 on a Wednesday evening. We arrived slightly before 7pm we experienced light sun, watched the sunset and seen the city come alive at night. Our dinner experiences lasted until 9pm. We were seated quickly with drink menus arriving promptly. Once we received our drinks, there was a long lag getting our dinner menus. After ordering appetizers and entrees, food was served in a reasonable time, especially for a party of 10. We closed the night with a small celebration, and they brought out desert and sparklers for everyone. However, between the end of dinner and that celebration, it was about 20 min wait. Don't let the wait time discourage you from visiting. They have more than jusy dining it's a...
Read moreWe found the reviews overrated due to the location. The shef is half Vietnamese half French, that's why it's called Asian Bistro. Dishes are hit and miss. Like the salmon was good and juicy but the soy sauce it was served on seemed too overpowering. Bread with strawberry butter and 1 wonton was served on the house. Tuna appetizer was the only one we liked out of 3 we've ordered. None of the deserts seemed appetizing so we've decided to skip it altogether. Among drinks, Margarita was good, but white wine and sangria were just mediocre. It took good 2 hours to finish our meal and we were the only customers in the entire restaurant. Seemed overpriced at $4000 MX for 4 adults...
