We enjoyed 2 delicious meals at Zihua Bay in March 2024. I had the fettuccine alfredo with shrimp and loved every bite. My 2nd meal here was a delicious stuffed chicken breast. Several servers ensured we had everything we wanted/needed throughout our visits.
There were 2 musicians playing the first night we dined, and there was a salsa dancer engaging the crowd & teaching people how to dance on our 2nd visit. (The salsa dancer & music was fun, but our group felt the music was a bit too loud...maybe not for a night out, but for dining.)
I highly recommend Zihua Bay and am sure we'll be returning again and again in the future.
3/26 edit: we returned to Zihua Bay on 3/19 for breakfast, and like our dinners, we were very pleased with everything. They have a meal package that was fantastic - food and service was terrific, and the price was extremely reasonable. 3 for 3 on great dining...
Read morefamily of 4 enjoyed a very relaxing and delicious dinner tonight at Zihua Bay. We were seated promptly, table and fans adjusted for our comfort in the evening heat, and the menu and specials were shared by waitstaff. the red snapper with lemon sauce and capers was cooked to perfection..the fish was moist and not overpowered by the sauce. Mahi Mahi with orange and cranberry sauce from the specials menu was also outstanding. chicken fajitas were quickly devoured by one son, and the other , the pickiest of eaters, enjoyed and ate all of his fettuccine Alfredo. servings of ice cream were had and we were treated to a slice of the avocado pie! it was amazing! we will be back to enjoy more tasty treats by Rebe and staff. we felt welcome, and like family. service was outstanding, atmosphere was excellent, and food was excellent quality prepared with care.

Read moreWow we read all of the reviews and were excited to eat here. Don't! I ordered the grilled octopus and my husband had the fish with cranberry orange sauce. I just have no words. Small portions of tasteless seafood with weird flavour combinations. This has been the only restaurant we've eaten at in Zihuatanejo that was a severe disappointment and the MOST expensive as well. Also the Margarita and the Paloma cocktaiks were boozy and like drinking cheap bar drinks. Outside the restaurant was a gentleman playing music that would have been good but just in another venue. Not the setting for this. Plenty of other great restaurants just down the street....
