My wife and I have been visiting Rana for years, and every time we come back to Cabo San Lucas, we always stop in for dinner. (Usually multiple times) Whether you get your food to go or sit in the very cozy restaurant, the food never disappoints. Ever since the first time we tried the tacos, my wife always gets the chorizo, and I can never get enough of the pastor. Though these are our favorites, the asada tacos are amazing as well whenever I feel like changing it up.
As for the rest of the menu, the Queso Fundido topped with chorizo, is our go to every time. The Plato Parrilla is a fantastic way to start off and try a little bit of eveything if you haven't been there. The pizzas and calzones are phenomenal, we love the Romero and the Margherita. And make sure to ask about desserts, because when they have them, they are the perfect finish to an amazing meal.
As one of the few fully vegan restaurants in Cabo, making everything from scratch, we always look forward to eating here, and highly recommend this to everyone, vegans...
Read moreAlso one of the cheapest restaurants I've been to as well. I was elated to see they were open for dine-in when I approached the gated entrance. Two sweet cats greeted my boyfriend and I when we walked up the steps, and they kept us company throughout our meal.
Awesome ambiance, and excellent service. The food was so good and I ordered so much that I almost had to be rolled out of there! We started with some Guac and one of each taco (all delicious, you can't go wrong. My fav was the Asada), and then ordered La Mexicana and La Rana Vegana pizzas. The pizzas were dirt cheap (these prices are all in mexican pesos) for how tasty and filling they were. We finished our meal off with a flavorful chocolate cake and a New York-style cheezecake.
After we finished eating, I ordered 8 more tacos and the Toscana and Margarita pizzas to go since we enjoyed our meals so much. Go support this hidden gem in Cabo San Lucas instead of the overpriced restaurants down at the Marina and downtown. The owners make you feel like...
Read moreY’all, have to stop playing games and come here on your visit to San Lucas. I was staying in San Jose and made the trek here twice....because it’s that good. Both times, I was the only person there, which is perfect because I got to meet the whole family, the mom who makes the best Mexican vegan sweet potato pie, daughter who makes her own vegan cheese, vegan meats from scratch and Taco, their cat who clearly wanted a bite of all of my food. Sorry bro, this is mine.
I had their tacos, veggie one, one with mixed meat and another one with their carne Asada. All 3 are finger licking quality. Their guacamole? STOP IT! Clearly have been making it wrong this entire time. Authentic Mexican guacamole doesn’t have tomatoes....and always white onions. Their margarita pizza also super good. Everything very reasonable ....if anything really cheap compared to vegan food anywhere in America. Definitely need to...
