A local favorite, the people were very nice, they spoke very little English, we spoke a little Spanish, we ordered guac and chips and fish taco's, we should have gotten the shrimp taco's. The fish was a bit oily, and the flavor was mediocre. The prices were the same as other places that had a nicer atmosphere and patio seating. On a quiet Saturday afternoon (all the way from Scotland), I stumbled (thankfully) on to, and in to, El Burro Loco.
A family run restaurant that just says the best of Mexico all over it; the hospitality was first class, the food amazing, and even although I've only been in town since Wednesday, it put a real smile on my face. I think they thought I was a bit of a novelty, which made the experience even better.
The Scottish are not known for tipping (haha), but this place was worthy of an extra big thankyou.

We got a pitcher of delicious hibiscus aqua fresca and some milkshakes and lemonade, then enjoyed some delicious mole roja, deshebrada, tostadas, ceviche, caldo de pollo, chile relleno, fajitas, etc.
