Incredible value and delicious food...the best breakfast I have ever had in all of years visiting Mexico!!!

We almost walked out of the restaurant to go down the street to Oscar's because we couldn't read the Spanish menu easily. SO GLAD WE DIDN'T! Turns out the waitress forgot to give us the English version of the menu we found out later.

We ordered the Isla Cozumel and the Isla Mujeres meals. At $7 and $8 respectively, you can definitely eat cheaper elsewhere, but you won't get nearly the value or the EXPERIENCE. For that little price you get a 3-4 course breakfast. Your price includes the best coffee we've had on Isla yet, fresh squeezed orange juice, yogurt with granola, a huge plate of pineapple/bananas/papaya...and THEN your meal is delivered. And for big appetite Americans, it is plentiful. The Isla Mujeres meal came with three enchiladas (one of three options) with Verde sauce and rice on the side. Incredible!

Atmosphere was very pleasant with open walls on 3 sides and a great breeze blowing through. Very classy Blues playing while we ate. We were going to go to Koko Nuts on Hidalgo tomorrow, but have changed plans to come back here to watch NFL (Go Seahawks!) and eat. In talking in broken English/Spanish with Maria, we discovered that Roca Isla is owned by the owner of Koko Nuts. Small island.

I was driving around and then i came across this restaurant and they offer 2x1 happy hour all day. To be honest the mojito was excellent and the margaritas are awesome then i tried a half rack of ribs and boy they were amazing, i stopped mainly because the place was not crowded at all on a sunday afternoon and im glad i did. Rigo was the waiter that day and he speaks perfect english and he was outstanding with the service...

We are frequents of Isla 1-2 times a year. We decided this round we would make ourselves try new places. We stopped in this American cliche looking bar...boy we were presently surprised.
