Casa Prime Puerta de Hierro — Restaurant in Jalisco

I do not mean to beat a dead horse but just like a few exposés on this establishment's sibling restaurant have--excuse the cacophony--exposed, there is quite some bias on the service provided to some patrons depending on who knows which factors.

It was very evident some patrons' table were more of a priority than ours and it is not like we were not spending indiscriminately.

Update: I have visited this place a few more times and service may have improved a bit thus, adding one extra star.

As may be evident from my other reviews, service is paramount for me to give a good rating. The few reasons I could not give this establishment an even lower rating in good faith are the following: great and supervised children's area, our mixologist was top notch. He even made sure to fix some mistakes after we were served. complimentary children's menu. "2x1" drinks all...

The waiters were very nice, friendly, always smiling, but the service ended up being not so great, we ordered a salad and soup, to come before our steaks, 20 minutes we asked for our soup and salad. We eventually got the salad. We continually asked for the soup, 7 times. Using translator, pointing to menus in spanish and English. Soup NEVER came. Manager eventually came over when the steaks arrived, said he would get the soup (40 minutes later). Told him we didn’t need it now. So by the time me were finished (shared) with the salad, Had to send the steak back to warm(was delivered cold anyhow). Grilled vegetables were disappointing . Wow, what a terrible disappointment! Although we heard mixed comments about this place we decided to give it a chance. Awful choice. We don't complain about the overpriced menu if it is worth the price but in this case neither the food nor the price was good. The waiters and waitresses were in some kind of hostile environment among themselves that was reflected in the kind of treatement they offered us. One of waitresses showed bad attitude towards one of our team memebers and we asked the manager to remove her from servicing our table . She did not follow that immediately showing defiance to her supervisor as well. So I have more details of this story that would take too long to tell. But overall, I would not recommend this...
