El Pechugon — Restaurant in Jalisco

This busy little place is close to Soriana and just a couple minutes from the airport. There are often locals lined up near meal times so it's clearly popular. There menu photos with prices which make it easy to communicate what you want. We ordered a half chicken that came with some nice little potatoes, 4 tacos, a couple of hot peppers and some salsa, all for 125 pesos. Very, very tasty chicken for an excellent price. I cannot say enough good things about this place! This is the real deal if you’re looking for a rotisserie chicken, when we go we always go to her three times to this restaurant and take it back to the hotel. It is unbelievable that day, and even better if you have a refrigerator for the next day. The potatoes are what sets it apart from everything else, if you’re wondering whether or not you should order extra, then just do yourself a favor...

The other reviews are good and the chickens on the rotisserie look very appetising. I may have just been unlucky because the half-chicken order that I received was very dried out and extremely salty; almost inedible. I would not be surprised if the chicken had simply been re-heated from the previous day. The roast potatoes were good and plentiful. I may try this place again at another time but will insist on seeing my chicken before...
