TPV Airport Transportation Puerto Vallarta — Local services in Jalisco

Nightmarish: the only word to describe our experience with this horrible company. We arrived on Feb 15 after pre-paying for a private extra large vehicle plus car seat. We did not receive any of the services we paid for. After waiting for nearly two hours (because of "an accident on the road" which I do not believe for a second. I am quite sure the company just takes as many bookings as they receive requests for), we finally were able to problem solve on our own and have another family kindly allow us to share their private vehicle. Without this other family's kindness, we would have been waiting another 2 hours or more, in the hot sun, with two small children under the age of 5. That is 4 hours of waiting for a private prepaid vehicle. When I contacted the company to complain I was rudely dismissed, and have not received any sort of reimbursement ... or even an apology.

The icing on the cake was the rude behavior from the driver who demanded a tip, aggressively. I was blown away.

Avoid this company AT ALL COSTS. Especially if traveling with young children. They honestly could not...

We had the absolute pleasure of being picked up from the airport by Tama and from the moment we met him, we knew we were in great hands. Not only did he bring us safely to our new airbnb home at the top of the mountain of Sayulita, but he went above and beyond to make our journey an unforgettable experience.

Along the way, he kindly stopped at a grocery store, gave us a tour, and even helped us navigate our shopping—explaining everything with warmth and humor. It felt like we had our own personal tour guide, sharing insights about Mexico and making us feel truly welcome. His kindness, humor, and attention to detail made all the difference.

He even brought our luggage inside and ensured we were comfortable before leaving. Throughout the ride, we felt completely safe and taken care of. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and genuinely wonderful driver in Mexico, we highly recommend Tama!

I prepaid for a vehicle 2. Subsequently, another couple decided to go with us so I contacted the tour company by email and they said it would be 285 MX extra. I agreed to that and they said I can pay it when I get picked up. We got picked up and they required 355 MX. I showed the driver the email who showed it to someone else who apparently called the company but they refused to change the price to the previously agreed amount. What makes it worse is that the exchange rate at the airport is lower than anywhere else in the city so I ended up paying far more than they quoted me.
