Restaurante Dario — Restaurant in Jalisco

We were on our way to a different restaurant when we realized there was a power outage across all of Yelapa. Not sure if the restaurant we planned to visit would be open or not, we jumped into the first open spot we saw, which was Restaurante Dario. And wow, what a good choice that ended up being!!! This was the best restaurant we went to in Yelapa and maybe even during our entire time in Mexico. I am still craving these tacos days later, and I will never forget how incredible they were. Even more impressive was how their staff navigated the power outage. They had candles on each table, which created a beautiful romantic vibe. They made drinks by flashlight at their bar area. And they used a flashlight in the open-air kitchen, making it all the more incredible how truly perfect and delicious these tacos were. If you are in Yelapa, you HAVE to go here!
